The Italian Football Sala Federation is pleased to officially announce the partnership with Neos Air, the Italian airline leader in Leisure Charter Flights.

Neos Air was founded in June 2001 and, having obtained the Air Operator Certificate from the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) on March 7, 2002, took off with the first Boeing 737-800W (Winglet) I-NEOS “City of Milan” the following day from Milan Malpensa to Senegal (Dakar and Cap Skirring). Scheduled flights began in October of the same year as the only Italian air carrier authorized on the Italy-Cape Verde route followed, in August 2003, by routes to the Canary Islands and, in the summer of 2004, to several important holiday destinations in the Mediterranean. The long-haul flights finally started in December 2004 and are currently carried out with two Boeing 767-300 ERW (Extended Range Winglets) and three Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner in line from December 13, 2017 the first, from June 29, 2018 the second and from November 1, 2018 the third and finally is expected to enter the fleet of a fourth 787-9 Dreamliner in September.

Neos was one of the first airlines to use the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, a latest generation aircraft to offer a unique travel experience in terms of comfort, luxury and efficiency.

NEOS is the first Italian airline to have been JAR OPS certified since its inception.

It carries out technical maintenance on its own aircraft and those of other carriers, with its own personnel, at Milan Malpensa airport, applying the provisions of JAR 145. Also at its headquarters, it also carries out training programmes for pilots and flight attendants on the Boeing 737-800, 767 Moonflower and 787-9 following the TRTO certificate received in September 2002.

Neos has its own bases at the airports of Milan Malpensa, Verona and Bologna, from which it operates daily scheduled and charter flights.
