Less than two weeks until the “Azzurrini” leave for Spain. Preparation for Europe’s top U21 tournament is going smoothly, and after selecting the 12 players that are going to take part to the competition, coach Arezzi can focus exclusively on them.
The friendly tournament scheduled for Saturday November 28th at PalaCairoli in Lainate (via Cairoli 32, Lainate, MI), where coach Arezzi’s team will play four tough teams one week before the European Championship starts, will play a crucial role.
As the last step, the national squad will meet on Sunday December 6th in Switzerland at the middle school gym in Morbio Inferiore (near Chiasso), where the parquet court measures 20×40, as in official competitions.
The chances to cut a good figure versus Europe’s top squads are real, starting from the first match versus Catalunya, a very tough team that our squad does not fear though, and continuing with final-victory most likely Belgium, and Czech Republic.
We fear no one. Let the field speak.
